Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of WowProxy's proxy network. Violating this policy may result in immediate suspension without refund.
Prohibited activities
- DDoS attacks, port scanning, or any form of network intrusion.
- Distribution of malware, ransomware, or phishing content.
- Credential stuffing, brute-forcing logins, or account takeover attempts against third-party services.
- Spamming, unsolicited bulk messaging, or email harvesting.
- Accessing or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported immediately to relevant authorities.
- Any activity that violates local, national, or international law.
- Circumventing the rate limits or fair-use expectations of third-party websites in a way that constitutes a denial-of-service.
Acceptable activities
- SEO rank tracking and site auditing.
- Public web data scraping in line with the target site's robots.txt and applicable law.
- Ad verification and brand protection monitoring.
- Social media management across multiple accounts you own or manage.
- Market research, price comparison, and academic research.
- E-commerce checkout automation (e.g. sneaker bots) on sites that don't explicitly prohibit it in their own terms.
Enforcement
We monitor for abuse patterns (not traffic content) such as abnormal connection volume consistent with attacks. Accounts found violating this AUP may be suspended immediately, and in serious cases (malware, CSAM, attacks) reported to relevant law enforcement.
Reporting abuse
If you believe a WowProxy IP was used to attack or abuse your service, contact support@wowproxy.io with logs/timestamps and we will investigate.
